JUMP FOR JOY

This is a jump to a joyous, prosperous, vibrant future.

Does taking The JUMP mean we have to give up everything that makes life good and go back to living in caves? No! For two reasons:

BALANCE NOT ABSTINENCE

Firstly, taking the JUMP doesn't mean giving everything up. We can still fly to every continent in our lifetime. It's about taking steps to work toward a balance in our choices.

LESS STUFF MORE JOY

But secondly, and more importantly, a world that is less focused on producing and consuming things would actually be better.

Sure, buying something new can make us feel good for a moment, but over-consumption of anything can make us sick. Plus, what about all the other things that make life wonderful and don’t involve buying more stuff? Like…

By taking the JUMP and consuming less we make space for all of these other things. People who ‘Take the Jump’ have been experimenting with this. For instance, community groups taking the jump have had public fairs bringing together the local community, with kids workshops, street dances, comedy shows, music performances and music.

Much more like this is coming soon.

So, this is a jump for joy. Take the Jump by signing up at takethejump.org.nz, and find out for yourself.
